Come along to our monthly film club and watch a movie with friends. The film choice for May is 'A Real Pain'. which is a 2024 comedy-drama film written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg. The film stars Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin as mismatched cousins who reunite for a Jewish heritage tour through Poland in honor of their late grandmother, but their old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history. Culkin won the Oscar and Golden Globe awards for Best Supporting Actor, while Eisenberg won the BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay. It was named one of the top ten films of 2024. As usual, there will be ice-cream during the film with tea and coffee afterwards. No need to book. Newcomers welcome.
