Step back in time and explore the past at Barry War Museum.

The Museum: Located within the historic railway station on Barry Island, the Barry War Museum is run by the Barry At War Group as part of The Barry Railway. The Barry at War Group, of whom all are volunteers, aim to research, preserve and promote the wartime history of the town and surrounding area.

Authentic Wartime Experience: The Barry War Museum features: a WW1 trench to simulate life on the Western Front, a genuine WW2 Anderson shelter , and a 1940s style kitchen and many other artefacts and display.

After the Tour, we will then go to Scoops, our Barry Venue for Coffee.

Parking: Parking can be found at Harbour Road, just a few minutes walk from the Museum. Parking is also available outside the train station itself, but please note that parking restrictions may apply.
