Join us at our coffee morning for a talk from  Elizabeth, one of our members,   about 'Ten Years at Belsen' The 15th April 2025 commemorates the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Bergen-Belsen concentration camp by British Troops of the 11th Armoured Division under the command of Lt. Col. R Taylor with Brig. Glyn Hughes, Royal Army Medical Corps. However, its history started in 1934 when Hitler became Fuhrer and began preparations to regain territory lost during World War 1. Married to a British soldier, Elizabeth lived under the shadow of Belson from 1970 to 1980.
