Wednesday 8 October 2025 at 12.00pm

Cost: 2
Non-member Cost: 5

Join us on a short, guided walk looking at 10,000 years of Torquay’s history. We’ll begin at the entrance to medieval Torre Abbey, continue through the Italianate Gardens and ponds, and maybe climb Rock Walk for a magnificent view of the Bay. For those of us who want to avoid the steps we can meet again at the Victorian Pier where we can indulge in an award-winning fish and chip lunch. The walk will be led by renowned and respected historian and author Dr Kevin Dixon. On-street parking is available at the Abbey. A certain level of fitness is required for the walk. Booking essential and payment secures your place.  Let me know if you intend to join for the Tour, lunch or both!  Price does not include lunch - you will pay for what you order at the restaurant and are welcome to have a full lunch, just chips or a drink.

The tour will continue in light rain but bad weather could force cancellation so do check with me before travelling.  Lunch can go ahead regardless.
