African Drumming Workshop

Join us for an evening of African Drumming workshop 'Traditional West African Rhythms from Guinea, Mali and Gambia. Come and learn to play traditional rhythms on traditional djembes and dunduns with Kaira Kafo. No previous experience necessary, come and lose yourself in the uplifting and extatically joyous rhythms from the most rhythmically and musically diverse region of the planet. Come and sing along too if you are so inclined. The sessions comprise learning traditional rhythms from Guinea/Mali/Gambia (West Africa) using djembes (hand drums) and dunduns (played with a stick and metal beater). Everyone is welcome
