War of the Worlds - A guided walk based on the story by HG Wells - Woking

An event in conjunction with Boundless

Guided walk by Tim Stoneman, retired Royal Navy Commander, a member of the Battlefield Tour Guides and a seasoned speaker with a unique style. This walk will follow what the book by HG Wells describes.

The walk is in two parts, first approximately two miles then a stop for rest and refreshments at "The  Gosling" restaurant then another two miles. Parts of the walk could be muddy so choose your footwear wisely.

We will be walking at the slowest pace, so no worries about keeping up.

We will meet in the Brewery Road Car Park, Woking GU21 4ND. Only five minutes walk from the car park is The Wheatsheaf pub where those that want to could meet earlier for lunch.

Please note that the Brewery Road Car Park costs £6.50 for 4 hours, £8 for 6 hours.
