History

History, Walks, Friendship Month, Social | Nationwide event hosted by Canterbury District Branch

Friday 26 September 2025 at 11.30am

Cost: Concessions (65+) £4.50 - Full Price £5

As part of our Friendship Month celebrations, we’re heading to Quex House and Gardens, including a visit to the Powell-Cotton Museum and we’d love you to join us.

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore one of East Kent’s most unique heritage sites. The museum is known for its extraordinary natural history and ethnographic collections, while Quex House itself offers a glimpse into the fascinating Victorian era. The beautifully maintained gardens provide a peaceful setting for a sit-down or a stroll.

Entry includes access to the Powell-Cotton Museum and a tour of Quex House and entry to the formal gardens.

There’s also several on-site cafés, so perhaps we will stop for some lunch together – the perfect chance to reflect and enjoy each other’s company. So, why not make a day of it? Tickets can be purchased on-site.
