A trip to the recycling centre with Sudbury

This is our second visit to the recycling centre.  Your recycling bin collection from your home is only the beginning of a long recycling journey.  Find out how your recycling is sorted on our visit to the Materials Recycling Facility at Great Blakenham.  This tour will include a presentation on how household waste is managed in Suffolk and how waste streams are accepted, sorted and separated before being sent to reprocessing companies.  The tour will involve walking up and down stairs so is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker or mobility issues.  You would however be able to join us for the presentation part of the visit.

We are not providing transport for this visit, so if you can offer a lift to another member please do let us know.  We will meet at the site at 5:00pm.
