Walk & Talk at Newcastle/Gateshead Quayside plus lunch at Enfields Kitchen, Gateshead College

We will walk along the picturesque Newcastle/Gateshead Quayside for around an hour or so. This walk will be lead by member and branch Vice Grand Ken. Meet by the Millennium Bridge (Gateshead side). The Gateshead Metro is an 18 minute walk from the Baltic. The Baltic Car Park, NE8 3QZ, charges are up to 1 hour £2.00; up to 2 hours £3.50; up to 3 hours £5.00 thereafter £1.50/hour. The Quarryfield Car Park, NE8 3AE, charges are up to 2 hours £2.60, up to 4 hours £3.90 or up to 12 hours £5.70. This car park is opposite Gateshead College where Enfields is located and a 10 minute walk to the Baltic.

After the walk we will then head to Enfields Kitchen @ Gateshead College for lunch at 12.30pm. This is a vibrant culinary project where the next generation of talented chefs from Gateshead College serve up modern, mouth-watering dishes.

If joining us for lunch only please meet in the reception of Gateshead College, Baltic Business Quarter, Quarryfield Road, Gateshead, NE8 3BE at 12.25pm.

Please book by 30th September for the walk alone and by 25th September for the walk & lunch or just lunch. 

Please be prepared for all weathers and dress appropriately for an outdoor walk.
