Step Into the World of Charles Dickens!
We’re heading to the Dickens House Museum in Broadstairs, a charming and atmospheric place with a fascinating connection to one of England’s greatest writers.
The museum is set in the former home of Miss Mary Pearson Strong – the inspiration for the character of Betsey Trotwood in David Copperfield. Dickens was a regular visitor to Broadstairs, and the house is filled with memorabilia, letters, and treasures that bring his world to life.
Please note: The museum is set over two floors and there is no lift, so accessibility is limited.
If you enjoy history, literature, or just a lovely day out by the sea, we’d be delighted to have you with us. Let us know if you’d like to come along.
