Following our walk in April to the site, we are returning on an annual open day to see the archaeological excavations and Tudor foundations at Scadbury Moated Manor. We can follow a self-guided trail around the moated manor site with experts to answer questions. We will see the archaeological excavations and the foundations of the Tudor kitchens and great hall, showing how these would have been used when the house was owned by the Walsingham family. Visitors can also see World War II defences and a restored shepherd’s hut. No parking at site. Limited disabled parking available
