Today we know it as the Abbey Gardens but back in 1820 Nathaniel S H Hodson opened the Botanic Gardens of Bury St Edmunds. Join Paul Marsh, a volunteer gardener and member of the Abbey Gardens Friends, as he delves into the history of this beautiful open space, explaining how it has changed over the years and hopefully will remain a favourite for townsfolk and tourists alike. Refreshments will be served from 10.00am and the talk will start at 10.30am
