SOLD OUT Southend Branch - Friendship Month - DAY TRIP - Papermill Lock Private Boat Trip and Cream Tea

As part of our Friendship month activities we have organised a Day Trip for members, non members and friends to Papermill Lock, 

Trips from Paper Mill Lock depart from just below the lock, and head downstream towards Rushes Lock, turn and return to Paper Mill, this is a one hour boat trips on board the Albert boat which has seating but steps to get on board. Enjoy lunch at the Papermill Lock Tea Rooms when we return. We will leave at 4.30pm  The Boat trip is from 2pm 3pm.  A coach has been organised with pick ups from the following points:]

The Cliffs Pavillion - Southend

The Stables Community Centre (London Road) Leigh on Sea

London Road - Bus Stop near Salvation Army Hadleigh Temple

 

Pick ups will commence from 12.15pm at Cliffs Pavillion - pick up times will be confirmed once all bookings received.

 Those wishing to drive directly can join the boat trip at a cost of £8pp - £5 car park fee

Mobility Information 

Please note the coach is not adapted for disabled users and does have some steps but help can be provided for those with limited mobility.  There is a short walk to the boat, those with limited mobility are advised to bring a wheelchair or walking aid if needed.  Help will be on hand.
