Meeting in the cafe with sells  a wide range of drinks and snacks in the surroundings of a traditional 1950s cafeteria. As the birthplace of the industrial revolution, the North West has a fascinating industrial history with Greater Manchester playing a key role. The transport heritage can still be viewed today with the collections housed at the museum with vehicles, objects, documents, images, film and video. Admission is £7.50 and can be paid on entry on the day.
