Bookable | Deadline: 15/05/2025

On the edge of Hampstead Heath and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens, Kenwood is one of London's hidden gems. The interiors are breathtaking and there is a stunning world-class art collection, which includes Rembrandt's 'Self-Portrait with Two Circles', and paintings by Vermeer, Gainsborough, Turner and Constable. There are 112 acres of glorious parkland designed by Humphry Repton to explore and characters from Kenwood’s past to discover, including Dido Belle, a British gentlewoman who was born into slavery.

Expert volunteers offer Highlight Tours of the house that introduce visitors to Kenwood, its history and inhabitants. You'll also hear about some of the highlights of the collection and the great masterpieces of the Iveagh Bequest. The tour runs at 2.30pm and last approximately one hour. If you wish to take part you can pay on the day - £10 Adults/ £5 English Heritage Members

Please also note, that Kenwood will be hosting a Singer Sargent exhibition in the Green and Music rooms and entry to these rooms will be subject to a fee (tbc). The rest of the House will be free to visit.

We will be leaving Hammersmith at 10am to travel on public transport to Kenwood House.
