Walk Around Preston Marina and River Ribble

Easy flat walking on good paths. Some walking on the riverside path next to the River Ribble. About an hour.

For the many people who seem to google the distance around Preston docks it's 1.46 miles using the footpath which leads round the main basin, crossing on the main road/rail bridge! This walk is a little further.

The walking group meet on the first Monday of every month until October and walks are less than 4 miles.
Walkers with mobility difficulty, a specific health problem or who are seriously unfit should contact the walk organisers. Comfortable shoes or trainers can be worn. Usually meet at Blackburn Bus Station. Times sent out nearer the time.
