St Kilda - Talk by Steve Halliwell

Talks-Demos

Talks & Demos | Preston District Branch

Tuesday 13 May 2025 at 2.00pm

Join us for a fascinating talk and presentation by local historian and researcher Steve Halliwell about Britain's most remote island St. Kilda, which was populated until the 1930's until the remaining small population reluctantly chose to relocate to the mainland.  A talk intended to whet the appetite of those still capable of going to the islands, and satisfy the curiosity of those who can’t!!  Tea / Coffee and biscuits included as usual and a raffle.  ** Note this is a week earlier than our usual meeting date due to the AMC dates this year **
