Oddie's Hikers (Knaresborough)

A 3 mile walk with lots to see, including a small chapel built in to rock, wood carvings, a hermit's cave, riverside, woodland and the castle,  followed by lunch at the pub. For those using public transport, a train leaves York Rail Station at 10.12 am and arrives at Knaresborough Rail Station at 10.44 am. For those driving, there is a long-stay car park at 37 York Place, HG5 OAB, which costs £1.40 for up to 4 hours.
