For over 50 years Cotebrook Shire Horse Stud have been breeding Champion Shires, the largest breed of horse in the world. The centre now has farm animals, Red Squirrels, Red Deer, Otters, Owls, Scottish Wild Cat, Red Foxes and Polecats for visitors to see and enjoy. We will have our morning coffee on arrival at the Lakeside Cafe then have free time to learn about the Shire Horses at the visitor centre, enjoy the woodland trail, see the animals and listen to the keepers talks while feeding the animals.
At approximately 2pm we set off for the short ride to Rose Farm and Shop, here you can meet the animals, enjoy a Cheshire Farm Ice cream, have a brew in the cafe or enjoy a spend in the shop which is full of locally sourced produce. The shop is brimming with goods including the butchery, deli, fruit and veg, flowers and ready meals which are all freshly prepared ready to go.
Please wear suitable clothing/shoes as it is mostly outdoors and we are visiting working farms.
Please note places are limited on this trip.
A £5 non refundable deposit is required to reserve your place, final balance by 29th April please.
