Town Crier

Jonathan Jones was the official Town Crier for Farnham in Surrey for 17 years, having first been appointed in June 2003. Jonathans talk covers how he came to be elected as Town Crier, his duties and responsibilities and the significance of the uniform. He will also tell us about the origins of Town Criers in days gone by.
