Lea Gardens is a Rhododendron Garden just outside the village of Lea, close to Matlock in Derbyshire. Lea Garden covers approximately three and a half acres, and is situated within a woodland area, with access paths which allow visitors to see the 500 or more varieties of rhododendrons, azaleas and other plants. The Garden is open to the public for viewing, and there is also have a very popular Teashop. Parking is free, and well-behaved dogs (on a lead) are welcome in the Garden. The Gardens are situated on Long Lane in Lea, within easy reach of the M1 or the A6. . Address is Lea Gardens, Long Lane, Lea, Matlock, Derbyshire DE4 5GH. Local signposts will lead you to Lea, and brown and white tourist signs will take you to Lea Gardens. Alternatively we can be reached from the other end of Long Lane, via Upper Holloway. Postcode is DE4 5NX. £6.00 per person, payable to the venue on the day. Please let Toni know if you are coming along as she will meet you there on the day.
