York Oddie's Hikers - Beningbrough Hall

We will meet outside The Village Hall in Newton-on-Ouse at 10:15 am. This 3-mile circular route of the beningbrough Hall estate takes us through bluebell carpeted woodland and along the river path, via the sandy area where the River Nidd joins the River Ouse, and past the Victorian Water Tower, with great views of the hall throughout. Bring a mug and Sarah will provide your choice of tea or coffee with home-made cake part way round at the picnic area near the pond. For those using public transport, the 80 bus leaves Station Avenue (Stop RM) at 9:35 am and arrives at The Village Hall in Newton-on Ouse at 10:03 am.
