Join us for a visit to Hardwick Hall, a National Trust Property, which is a masterpiece of Elizabethan architecture, built by Bess of Hardwick, one of the wealthiest and most influential women of her time. The hall is often called “more glass than wall” because of its distinctive design, featuring large windows that allow for stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Following a visit to the hall we can wander the gardens and parklands which surround it and finish up at the cafe or tearoom on site.
