A longer trip this time to this beautiful Peak District Market town of Buxton!  We will be visiting The Crescent Experience set within the Grade 1 listed Crescent building, which has 9 themed rooms exploring more than 10,000 years and explains the history of Buxton, The Crescent, Buxton Water and the people who have taken its cure and bathed in the thermal mineral water.

We will have our own guide who will tell us stories of the hidden history and have the opportunity of taking a virtual reality flight above the town during its Georgian hayday.  The tour ends following rainwater on a 5,000 year journey through the Peak District hills before it emerges warm for the natural springs beneath the Crescent.

Our guide will then taken us to the Grade II listed Pump Room to see the sunken oval pool.  We will also receive a souvenir glass bottle to 'take the water' from the historic Lion's Head Well or St Ann's Well to take home.

We will be visiting on Market Day and there will be chance to explore for all your bargains.

Our trip also includes a brew and biscuits, but you will have free time once we arrive for lunch, prior to the tour commencement. We will be arriving on Market Day and there will be time for you to explore at your own pace.

Pick ups will be from Upton, City Centre and Woolton, with times to be confirmed nearer the event.
