Barrow Hill Roundhouse is the last surviving railway roundhouse in the UK with an operational turntable. It was built in 1870 and saved after the site was closed by dedicated volunteers who have transformed it into a unique railway museum.
Meet at the entrance at 10.45am – Signal box demonstration at 11am, turntable demonstration 12noon. Lunch in the café 12.30pm.
