Halifax Heritage Tours will lead this bus tour to see places which you might not know much about or even knew existed! Places with a wealth of history to tell, many with listed building status. Let our guides tell you more about some of the fascinating buildings and areas just a short distance from the town centre. How they fit into the rich heritage of Halifax and how the past has shaped the town of today. They will show us the world’s tallest folly, buildings and parks provided by the town’s wealthy philanthropists, tell the story of who built the church with the tallest spire, and even show you the gruesome guillotine (the Gibbet) used in Halifax from 1286 to 1650.
A maximum of 18 places available, payment required upon booking.
