A talk by Colin Burbidge following his recent visits to the Rioja Wine Region in Northern Spain.  Colin will take you through the fascinating history of this important wine region, highlighting its wines and the importance of the use of oak in classifying its wines - do you know the difference between Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva?   You will after this talk as well as the grapes used in making Rioja and the key geographic and historical reasons the wines from rioja are so great!.  Colin will use photgraphs he has taken during his visits and even some google earth views on his presentation. 

So book your place and pull up a chair with a glass of classic Rioja wine.  He'll event show you how to taste wine like a professional!
