Presented in period police uniform by a retired West Yorkshire Police constable with 20 years service. Using a collection of genuine police equipment in the form of uniform tunics hats, helmets and accoutrements, period truncheons handcuffs and other props.The audience will travel through the years and changes as he explains how the public, parliament and the monarchy have affected changes to the way Britain has been policed, changes to the uniform, and how the police continue to provide a service in modern times.
A cottage pie or lasagna supper will be served during the evening.
