Picnic in the Park and Oddfellows Brass Concert

July 23 2010

Oddfellows Brass

As part of our bicentenary celebrations, the West London District of the Oddfellows are hosting an extra special event at Fulham Palace on Sunday 1 August.

Fulham Palace

We hope that hundreds of people will join us on the lawn for what will be a lovely day for the whole family. Several Branches are bringing coaches, from Berkshire to Kent! We have a special treat as some members will even be arriving on the actual bus used on the 1963 film Summer Holiday starring Cliff Richard.

Gates to the park open at 11am and the award winning Oddfellows Brass will be performing between 2-4pm. Tours of the Fulham Palace museum will be available from 11am until 1pm at a charge of £5 per person. There will also be activities for children, from face painting to a colouring competition.

So come along and bring your camping chairs and picnics for what promises to be a lovely day on the lawn!

The event will be held at Fulham Palace, Bishop’s Avenue, Fulham SW6 6EA. For more information regarding this event or about the Oddfellows, call 0800 028 1810.

Over 500 people joined us for what was a wonderful day on Sunday. Members came from across London and the south and we were pleased to welcome members of the public, too.

Check back soon for pictures of the day!
